Cathedral City Booster Patsy Hosting Fundraiser to Support Student Scholarships

A well-known Cathedral City community supporter is asking residents to come together to help local students.

Patsy, best known for her popular "Dinner with Patsy" events, is hosting a special fundraising lunch Thursday to help replenish her scholarship fund, which provides financial assistance to students in Cathedral City throughout the year.

The luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nick's Bistro, located inside the Date Palm Country Club on Date Palm Drive.

Organizers say guests can enter through the country club gate, inform staff they are attending the fundraiser, and follow the roadway to the restaurant.

Funds raised during the event will go toward scholarships awarded to local students, continuing a tradition of community support that Patsy has championed for years.

Residents who are unable to attend Thursday's fundraiser will have another opportunity to connect with Patsy later this month. Her monthly "Dinner with Patsy" gathering is scheduled for June 17 at Tony's Burgers in Cathedral City.

The community events are held on the third Wednesday of each month and have become a popular way for residents to gather, support local causes and stay connected with one another.
