This Sunday, June 7, the desert sun will shine a little brighter as the Coachella Valley’s vibrant Filipino community comes together for Fiesta Kalayaan 2026 — a joyful celebration of freedom, culture, and heritage marking the 128th anniversary of Philippine Independence.
Hosted by the National Alliance of Filipino Americans (NAFA), the free, family-friendly event promises a perfect blend of Kalayaan (Freedom), Kinabukasan (Future), and Kasaysayan (History). Whether you’re reconnecting with your roots or discovering Filipino culture for the first time, this is the place to be!
