Deputies Investigating Report of Armed Subject at Palm Desert Store

Deputies responded to reports of an armed subject at a shopping center in Palm Desert on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. near the Burlington store along Highway 111. Authorities were called to the area after receiving reports of a person who was allegedly armed.

According to law enforcement, deputies arrived at the scene and searched the store and surrounding area. However, officers were unable to locate anyone matching the description that was provided to dispatchers.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
