Average Riverside County Gas Prices Drops To Lowest Amount Since March 21

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular
gasoline in Riverside County dropped to its lowest amount since March 21 today,
decreasing 3.6 cents to $5.723, one day after an 18-day streak of decreases
totaling 30.4 cents ended when it was unchanged.
  

The average price is 16.7 cents less than one week ago and 36.7 cents
lower than one month ago, but $1.211 more than one year ago, according to
figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
  

The national average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $4.161,
its lowest amount since April 27. It has dropped 19 consecutive days,
decreasing 40.3 cents, including 1 cent Monday.
  

The national average price is 12.9 cents less than one week ago and
36.9 cents lower than one month ago, but $1.037 more than one year ago.
