Lane Closures on Washington Street in La Quinta Expected to Last Weeks

Drivers using Washington Street in La Quinta should plan for delays over the next several weeks. The city began landscape renovations in the center median between Avenue 50 and Sagebrush Avenue on June 8, closing the inside northbound and southbound lanes while work is underway.

The project is expected to last four to six weeks. The city is asking drivers to use caution, allow extra travel time, and consider an alternate route if possible.
