Riverside County Extends Public Safety Training Partnership Through 2031
The Riverside County Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved a continued partnership with local colleges and first responders to support public safety training.
The new five-year, $3.2 million agreement will continue criminal justice and firefighting courses at the Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center through 2031.
Students through Moreno Valley College will continue training at the facility located near March Air Reserve Base.
The program allows students to gain hands-on experience while also earning college credit toward careers in law enforcement, firefighting and other emergency response fields.
County leaders say the continued partnership helps strengthen the pipeline for future first responders while supporting workforce development across Riverside County.
