An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Wednesday, June 10, 2026!

As an upper-level high centered over the Northeast Pacific begins to nudge its way over Southern California, temperatures in the Coachella Valley will begin to heat-up.

Palm Springs will warm from a sunny 106° this afternoon to 108° under clear skies on Thursday.

Sandwiched between an upper-level low to our Southwest and an upper high to the Southeast, a plume of upper-level moisture will be pulled-up over the Southwest on Friday. There will not be any rain, but the Valley will see extra cloud cover during the day.

Because some of this moisture will find its way to the surface, I pulled-down Friday's midday temps to around 105° along with adding a touch of humidity to the mix.

Sunshine then returns on Saturday at a time peak temps reach 110°.
