McCallum Theatre Launches First-Ever Jazz Experience in Palm Desert on Saturday

If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, the McCallum Theatre is launching its first-ever Jazz Experience this Saturday.

The all-day event is dedicated to jazz music and includes hands-on activities, live performances and opportunities for the community to get involved.

The day begins with a free morning Jazz Lab at the Palm Desert Library, where attendees of all ages can explore music, rhythm, creativity and interactive activities.

Later, the event moves to the McCallum Theatre for ticketed afternoon and evening programming, including a community jazz jam featuring local talent, food trucks and a headlining performance by five-time Grammy-nominated pianist David Benoit.

The evening concert will also feature vocalist Courtney Fortune alongside members of the Pacific Jazz Orchestra.

Combo tickets are available for guests interested in attending both the afternoon jazz jam and evening concert.
