Paving Work on Indian Canyon Drive Could Slow Your Commute This Week

If you drive along Indian Canyon Drive this week, expect slowdowns. Paving crews are working between Tramway View Road and Palm Springs Station Road Wednesday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Palm Springs City officials say at least one lane will stay open throughout the work, though intermittent closures are expected and delays are likely. Drivers should plan for extra travel time or consider taking Vista Chino or Gene Autry Trail as an alternate route.

Construction signs and flaggers will be directing traffic through the area, so reduce your speed and stay alert if you pass through.
