An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Thursday, June 11, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will see lots of sunshine today with dew points in the 40s, middle-of-the-day relative humidity close to 10%, and above normal high temperatures around 109°.

Sandwiched between an upper-level low to our Southwest and an upper high to the Southeast, a plume of upper-level moisture will be pulled-up over the Southwest on Friday and Saturday.

There will not be any rain with this moisture, but the Valley will see a few extra clouds with a touch of humidity. Because of slightly higher dew points, Valley highs will back-off -- but only slightly -- on both Friday and Saturday afternoon.

As far as winds are concerned, on-shore winds will become just-a-bit gusty in those wind-prone areas around the Coachella Valley during the evening hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
