The true foundation of Zanna Records traces back to Gianluca Zanna’s childhood in a Rome boarding school, where an eleven-year-old boy dreamed of moving to the American Southwest to compose music despite not knowing how to speak English. After immigrating to the United States in 1998 with minimal savings, Zanna spent decades building businesses while continuously sharpening his songwriting craft. Nearly five years ago, those dreams fully materialized with the launch of his independent record label. The trajectory of the brand evolved dynamically when he crossed paths with Lyons under extraordinary circumstances, sparking a shared spiritual and artistic mission to treat music as medicine.
