An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, June 12, 2026!

Sandwiched between an upper-level low to our Southwest and an upper-high to the Southeast, a plume of upper-level moisture will bring clouds over the Southwest today and tomorrow.

There may be a few mountain sprinkles under some of those clouds today, but just virga elsewhere.

Also -- because some of that upper-level moisture will find its way to the surface -- the Coachella Valley will feel a touch of humidity both today and tomorrow.

And -- as far as high temperatures are concerned -- the Valley will heat-up to just below 110° each afternoon though Sunday.

By-the-way... Tuesday will be the hottest day in our near-future when Valley temps surpass 110°. The good news is that those numbers back-off late next week.
