Blue Bully Bedding Donates $10,000 to Underdog Heroes Rescue

A Riverside County nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and advocating for animals is receiving a major boost thanks to a local business committed to giving back.

La Quinta-based Blue Bully Bedding has donated $10,000 to Underdog Heroes, a nonprofit dog rescue and animal advocacy organization serving the region.

The donation comes from a portion of the company's sales. According to the business owner, a percentage of each sale is set aside in a fund dedicated to supporting animal shelters and rescue organizations.

The company contributes three percent of its sales to the fund and makes a donation whenever the total reaches $10,000.

"As a business owner, I think it is a responsibility to give back to the community," the owner said. "I'm very passionate about animals and dogs and rescues and all the people out there that work very hard to help animals."

The owner said supporting responsible rescue groups and shelters has been part of the company's mission from the beginning.

The donation marks the second time Blue Bully Bedding has contributed to local animal welfare efforts. Company representatives say each time the fund reaches the $10,000 threshold, the money is directed to a different animal shelter or rescue organization.

Underdog Heroes works to rescue dogs in need while promoting animal welfare and advocacy throughout Riverside County.

Supporters say donations like this help nonprofits continue providing medical care, shelter, rehabilitation and adoption services for animals awaiting permanent homes.

Both organizations hope the partnership inspires additional community support for local rescue groups and the animals they serve.
