Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will see lots of sunshine today while surrounded by perimeter mountain clouds. With just enough mid-level moisture, the chance of a few, very light, afternoon mountain sprinkles are very low.

You can expect some humidity during the first half of today along with above-normal high temperatures around 110°.

Also, because of the 'Shore Fire' near Calimesa, the Air Quality index for the Coachella Valley has been in the 'Unhealthy" category so far today.

The Coachella Valley will be under cloud-free skies on Wednesday with drier air and slightly above-normal highs around 107°. On-shore winds will pick-up during the afternoon/evening hours, but only in those wind-prone areas around the Valley.

Temperatures in the Valley will begin to back-off closer to those mid-June normals of 104° on Thursday, then around 100° for both your Saturday and Sunday.
