Dinner With Patsy Raises Funds for Safe Schools Desert Cities
Community members came together Thursday evening for another "Dinner With Patsy," a fundraising event benefiting Safe Schools Desert Cities.
The event was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and featured dinner provided by Tony's Burgers. Proceeds from the evening supported programs and services offered by Safe Schools Desert Cities, a nonprofit organization focused on creating safe and supportive environments for local youth.
Guests enjoyed an evening of food, fellowship and community while helping raise money for initiatives that promote inclusion, education and student well-being throughout the Coachella Valley.
Organizers highlighted several programs supported by the nonprofit, including the Rainbow Youth Summit and youth camps that provide students with opportunities to connect, learn and grow in a safe environment.
Supporters attending the event emphasized the importance of creating spaces where young people can feel accepted and supported.
Safe Schools Desert Cities works year-round to provide resources, advocacy and educational opportunities for youth and families across the region. Fundraisers such as Dinner With Patsy help ensure those programs can continue serving local students.
Organizers said the evening was another example of the Coachella Valley community coming together to support a cause focused on the safety and well-being of young people.
The event also marked another successful gathering for supporters of Safe Schools Desert Cities, reinforcing the organization's mission of fostering acceptance and creating opportunities for youth throughout the desert region.
