Palm Springs Looking for a New Airport Boss

Palm Springs is hiring a new executive director to run Palm Springs International Airport, and the city wants applications in by July 12.

The job puts someone in charge of day-to-day operations at the airport, setting a strategic direction for the airport while working with the city manager, other city departments, the Airport Commission, and outside agencies.

The seat opened up after Harry Barrett Jr. stepped down in May to take a new job with the Sacramento County Department of Airports.
