Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Friday, June 19, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will be under lots of sunshine this afternoon with mild midday temperatures around 100°. (Palm Springs normal high in mid-June is 105°.)

You can expect more mild weather this weekend when the Valley will see sunny skies with peak numbers close to 102° both afternoons.

As far as winds are concerned, on-shore gusts will be a concern today during the late-afternoon/evening hours, especially those wind-prone areas around the Valley.

Because of the possibility of elevated dust and dirt, an Air Quality Alert has been posted for the Coachella Valley though Saturday morning.

Surface air around the Valley will dry-out for the weekend when dew points hover in the 30s while middle-of-day relative humidity bottoms-out around 10% each afternoon.

Enjoy the weekend as our temperatures will heat-up next week when Valley midday highs revisit 110° midweek.
