Meet Hinata: One of Jen's Favorite Dogs Yet

It's Fido Friday, and this week community contributor Jen Agnew introduces us to Hinata, a five-year-old who has been at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus since April. Some viewers may recognize her from Pet of the Week. After being returned by her owner, through no fault of her own, Hinata is once again looking for a family to call her own.

"Hinata is one of my favorite dogs I've taken out through the FIDO program," Jen said. "She's sweet, walks beautifully on leash, rides great in the car, and does great with kids and other dogs. She's the kind of dog who settles right into your life and makes herself part of the family."

Jen says Hinata is exactly the kind of dog people overlook without meaning to. "When I look at Hinata, I see a family dog who's been overlooked," she said. Right now, she's sharing a kennel with two other large dogs while she waits for someone to give her a second chance.

If you're interested in adopting Hinata, contact the Coachella Valley Animal Campus and reference ID number A-1637323.
