Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Sunday, June 21, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will be under cloud-free skies today with dew points in the 30s, middle-of-the-day relative humidity close to 10%, and high temperatures around 103°. More of the same for your Monday, but just a couple of degrees hotter.

Once again, on-shore winds will strengthen during the afternoon/evening hours today. (Heads-up: Winds will become stronger this Saturday night.)

As an upper-level high pressure center sits over Northern Mexico midweek, the system will elevate Valley midday temperatures on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This clockwise-rotating ridge may also play a role in providing some clouds and elevated humidity to the Valley while triggering a few showers or thunderstorms to our East.
