An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, June 22, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will be under sunny skies today with dew points in the 30s, middle-of-the-day relative humidity close to 10%, and near-normal high temperatures around 105°.

The Valley will be under mostly sunny skies on Tuesday when midday highs approach 110°. This will be followed by a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday with another afternoon of temps around 110°.

The high pressure center responsible for those above-normal numbers will also pull-up some mid-level moisture which could result in a few widely scattered showers late-Tuesday/early-Wednesday North and East of the Valley.

A trough of low pressure is forecast to move through the Southwest this weekend. Although no precipitation is expected with this system, this frontal boundary will trigger very strong on-shore winds on Saturday followed by a drop in temperatures for your Sunday.
