Green Room Theatre Company Lands Massive $100,000 Grant to Expand Cultural Programs and Staffing

COACHELLA, Calif. — The local performing arts scene is about to get a major upgrade ahead of the upcoming autumn performance cycle. The Green Room Theatre Company Coachella Valley officially announced it has secured a transformative 100,000 dollar grant from the Tammis Day Foundation earlier this month. This substantial financial infusion marks a major step forward for the non-profit organization and expands on an initial 2,500 dollar seed donation provided by the foundation back in December 2025 that first kickstarted their philanthropic partnership.

A primary objective of this role will be expanding high-quality artistic training opportunities throughout the region, with a specialized focus on historically underserved or under-resourced East Coachella Valley neighborhoods.
