An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Wednesday, June 24, 2026!

The very slight chance of a few sprinkles over the Coachella Valley comes to an end by this afternoon while clouds slowly thin throughout the day.

The Valley will feel some humidity today as dew points hover in the 50s with middle-of-the-day relative humidity bottoms-out to around 20%. Today's high temperatures will range between 105° to 109°.

You will see lots of sunshine on Thursday with much drier air and peak temps around 106°.

As a trough of low pressure approaches the Southwest, winds will pick-up later this week. You can expect gusty afternoon and evening winds on Friday with a much stronger on-shore flow on Saturday.

A Wind Advisory and an Air Quality Alert are both likely. Stay tuned!

This frontal boundary will also play a role in bumping-down our highs to the 90s on Sunday.
