Governor Gavin Newsom and State Treasurer Fiona Ma Announce Early Wealth Partnership to Help Families Access Savings Programs

Governor Gavin Newsom and State Treasurer Fiona Ma announced a new partnership today to help California families access billions of dollars in children's savings and wealth-building programs.

The Early Wealth Partnership is developing a new online tool called the Early Investment Accounts Navigator. It is designed to help parents find and claim education and savings benefits their children may already qualify for.

The mobile-friendly, bilingual platform will connect families to programs including Cal Kids, Hope Trust accounts, federal 538 Trump accounts, and local child savings initiatives. The pilot program will launch first in California, with plans to expand to other states by the end of the year.
