Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026!
The Coachella Valley will be under totally clear skies again today with dew points around 50°, middle-of-the-day relative humidity in the teens, and below-normal high temperatures in the upper-90s.
Next, a gradual increase in temps will occur into this weekend.
Palm Springs will heat-up from 100° on Thursday to 106° on Independence Day, then to a normal early-July reading of 108° on Monday of next week.
Valley dew points slip from around 50° this afternoon to the 30s for both Friday and Saturday.
On-shore winds are expected to be a bit gusty in those wind-prone areas around the Valley during the late-afternoon/evening hours today. And -- because of elevated dust and dirt -- an Air Quality Alert continues for the Coachella Valley.
