Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Thursday, July 2, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will be under cloud-free conditions today with below-normal high temperatures around 100°. Palm Springs will then warm to 103° on Friday, 104° on Independence Day, both under clear skies.

As an upper-level ridge of high pressure expands over the Southwest, Valley midday highs will heat-up close to 110° by the middle of next week.

Valley dew points slip from around 40° today to the 30s Friday and Saturday.

We will still experience on-shore winds through the weekend, but only strong breezes around sunset each day.
