Berger Foundation Iceplex Hosting Red, White, and Skate Fourth of July Celebration

Looking for a cool way to celebrate Independence Day? The Berger Foundation Iceplex in Palm Desert is inviting the community to lace up their skates for its Red, White, and Skate celebration on Saturday, July 4.
The patriotic-themed public skate runs from noon until 3 p.m. and is presented by Coca-Cola. Organizers say the family-friendly event is designed to help residents and visitors beat the desert heat while celebrating America's birthday.
Guests can enjoy complimentary Coca-Cola beverages while supplies last, along with food and beverage specials including Coca-Cola ice cream floats and chili dogs. The celebration will also feature giveaways, interactive activities and a chance to win concert tickets.
Attendees are encouraged to show their patriotic spirit by dressing in red, white and blue. Anyone arriving in patriotic attire will receive free skate rental during the event.
The Berger Foundation Iceplex serves as the official training center for the Coachella Valley Firebirds and offers year-round public skating, youth and adult hockey leagues, skating instruction, tournaments and community events.
Event organizers encourage guests to register in advance through the Berger Foundation Iceplex website. Members of the media are also invited to attend and cover the festivities.
The Red, White, and Skate celebration takes place Saturday, July 4, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Berger Foundation Iceplex in Palm Desert.
