32 Palm Springs Unified Students Graduate Through Summer School Program
Thirty-two students from the Palm Springs Unified School District are now officially high school graduates after completing their graduation requirements through summer school.
Students representing all five of the district's high schools were recognized during a special graduation ceremony, where they walked across the stage wearing caps and gowns to receive their diplomas.
Superintendent Dr. Marcus Funches, along with members of the Board of Education and district administrators, joined the celebration to congratulate the graduates on their accomplishments and recognize the dedication it took to reach this milestone.
District officials say the summer school graduation program provides students with an additional opportunity to complete coursework and achieve their academic goals.
For the graduates, the ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter as they move forward with plans that may include college, career training or entering the workforce.
School leaders celebrated the students' perseverance and commitment, highlighting their achievement as an example of determination and success within the Palm Springs Unified community.
