Waymo Expanding Robotaxi Service to Four More U.S. Cities

Waymo is expanding its robotaxi service to four more U.S. cities as the company continues growing its autonomous vehicle operations.
The Alphabet-owned company says its driverless vehicles are now on the streets of Las Vegas, with launches planned soon in San Diego, Tampa and Denver.
Employees in those cities will be among the first to receive rides before the service expands to the general public.
Waymo has already been operating autonomous ride services in several locations and continues to increase its presence as companies compete in the growing self-driving vehicle market.
The company also has plans to expand internationally, with service expected to launch in London later this year.
