Palm Beach International Airport Renamed to Trump International, Facing Legal Pushback

Palm Beach International Airport is changing its name to Donald J. Trump International Airport, but not everyone's on board.

Two lawsuits are now fighting to stop the switch, one of which claims the change happened without sign off from the Federal Aviation Administration or Palm Beach County officials.

The rebrand is already underway. A new sign with navy blue and white lettering bearing the president's name went up Wednesday morning, and signage along Interstate 95 was updated last week to reflect the new name.

If the change goes through, the airport's three-letter code will shift from PBI to DJT, and travelers could start seeing the new name on their boarding passes.

For now, the lawsuits remain pending, and the airport's official status is still in question.
