Three Arrested in Organized Retail Theft Spree in Cabazon
Three people are facing multiple felony charges after authorities say they carried out an organized retail theft spree targeting several businesses in Cabazon.
Riverside County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported theft in progress yesterday at a business on Seminole Drive. Investigators say a coordinated law enforcement response led to the quick arrest of all three suspects.
According to deputies, the suspects are accused of stealing more than $2,000 worth of merchandise from approximately seven different businesses in the Cabazon area.
Authorities identified the suspects as 47-year-old Arlene Rodriguez, 42-year-old Guillermo Gonzalez and 44-year-old Juan Ramirez, all of Chula Vista.
The three were booked on suspicion of organized retail theft, multiple counts of theft and conspiracy.
Investigators have not released additional details about the stolen merchandise or whether any of it was recovered.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
