Because of hot and humid weather, that Extreme Heat Warning continues today for a large area of Southern California, including the Coachella Valley, where dew points will reside in the 60s while high temps peak around 109°. There is a slight chance of a mountain thunderstorm this afternoon.

You can expect mostly cloudy skies tomorrow with sticky conditions and midday temps around 105°. With just enough monsoonal moisture in place, mountain t-storms are a possibility Friday afternoon.

You can expect mostly cloudy skies on Saturday and Sunday with more humidity and highs around 106° both afternoons.

By-the-way, Valley dew points will remain in the 60s into the next weekend.
