Meet Milo: A Quiet, Gentle Soul Who's Been Waiting Since April

It's Fido Friday, and this week community contributor Jen Agnew introduces us to Milo, a two-year-old who has been at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus since April. For his day out, Jen kept things low-key and took him to PetSmart, and it suited him perfectly.

He was a little shy, not particularly interested in the toys or the other animals they passed, just happy to be out, taking everything in and spending some time away from his kennel.

"These outings give shelter dogs a chance to decompress, experience normal life, and show us who they really are outside those kennel walls," Jen said. "For dogs like Milo, that exposure can mean everything. He's already spent months waiting. He deserves a chance to finally go home."

If you're interested in adopting Milo, contact the Coachella Valley Animal Campus and reference ID number A-1790631.
