Natalie Harp Letters Reveal Deep Loyalty to Trump Amid Scrutiny of White House Aide

Letters attributed to White House aide Natalie Harp express her deep loyalty to Trump as scrutiny continues over her unusually close relationship with the president.
At least two letters addressed to Trump were published by The Daily Beast this week. In one, Harp wrote that she wanted things to “always be right between us” and described Trump as her “Guardian and Protector in this Life.”
The letters were reportedly written in 2023, when Harp was working as a host for the conservative One America News Network. In another letter, she recalled speaking with Trump during her television career and wrote that she wanted to regain their previous “synergy.”
Harp also wrote that Trump had the right to criticize her when she made mistakes because, in her words, “no one knows or cares about me more.”
CNN has not independently confirmed that Harp wrote or sent the letters. The Daily Beast reported that writer Michael Wolff obtained them while working on a book about Trump's 2024 campaign.
Harp's relationship with Trump has received increased attention in recent days after Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff of Georgia criticized the president and specifically mentioned Harp during a speech.
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle defended Harp, calling her one of Trump's “most loyal and hardest working aides.”
Officials familiar with the White House have described Harp as a constant presence around Trump. Unlike some previous presidential aides who worked outside the Oval Office, Harp reportedly sits inside the office, attends meetings and communicates with Trump throughout much of the day.
She has also been described as a conduit between Trump and people outside the White House, including foreign leaders and individuals the president sees on television.
Harp began working for Trump after crediting him with saving her life. She has since taken on a wide range of responsibilities, including preparing material for the president, typing Truth Social posts and delivering messages.
She is known within Trump's orbit as the “human printer,” a nickname she referenced in one of the letters.
The increased attention has reportedly frustrated some senior aides and led to efforts to limit Harp's access to the president's inner circle.
