Stocks Close Higher Tuesday as Nasdaq Leads Gains, Dow Jumps Over 300 Points
Stocks finished higher Tuesday as Wall Street saw broad gains across all major indexes, led by a strong surge in tech stocks.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 48,535.99, up 317.74 points, marking a 0.66% increase. The S&P 500 also posted a solid gain, ending the day at 6,967, up 81.14 points, or 1.18%.
The Nasdaq Composite led the rally, climbing 455.34 points to close at 23,639.08, a jump of 1.96%.
