Wall Street Mixed at Close: Dow Gains, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Fall

Wall Street finished Monday's trading session with a mixed performance.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 140.15 points, or 0.26%, to close at 53,417.16.

The S&P 500 declined 21.51 points, or 0.28%, ending the session at 7,652.86.

The Nasdaq Composite fell 200.26 points, or 0.76%, to finish at 25,980.19.

The day's closing numbers reflect a stronger performance from the Dow compared with the broader S&P 500 and technology-heavy Nasdaq.
