Free In-Flight Wi-Fi for United Loyalty Members
United Airlines has announced exciting news for its Loyalty Rewards members: free in-flight Wi-Fi is coming soon, thanks to a new partnership with Starlink, the satellite internet provider owned by Elon Musk's SpaceX. The airline made the announcement via social media on Friday, confirming that it would move forward with the plan to offer this service to its MileagePlus members. The technology has already been installed on the airline’s first aircraft, and over 40 planes per month are expected to be equipped with Starlink in the coming months. With this new service, MileagePlus members will be able to stream, browse, and even game while flying, making long flights more enjoyable. United Airlines is working to equip its entire fleet with Starlink’s satellite internet service by the end of 2025, ensuring that all passengers will have access to high-speed Wi-Fi. This development marks a major leap forward in in-flight connectivity, setting United apart from other airlines. The move comes as more and more passengers demand reliable internet access during their flights, especially for work, entertainment, and staying connected. With free Wi-Fi, United hopes to enhance the overall travel experience and offer even more value to its frequent flyers.

A troubling history is coming to light in a Palm Desert husband’s death. 65-year old Vicky Kim is accused in the death of her husband — but prosecutors say she had previously faced several domestic violence cases involving him. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office says it had secured protective orders against Kim before a judge later resolved her cases as misdemeanors, released her from custody and terminated those orders. Now, Kim is expected to be arraigned in connection with her husband’s death. Court records allege the weapon used was a flagpole.
