Some Stores Open, Many Closed Easter
As you hop off to enjoy your Easter plans, it's important to know what businesses are staying open.
Most major grocery stores, including Walmart, Kroger’s, Food Lion, Wegmans, and Trader Joe’s, will remain open during regular hours.
That means you can still grab last-minute items for your Easter brunch or dinner.
Craving a bite out?
You’re in luck — many fast food spots and sit-down restaurant chains are keeping their kitchens running.
Still, double-check your local locations just in case hours vary.
Not everything will be business as usual, though.
Postal offices and banks will be closed for the holiday.
Retailers like Target, Aldi, Lowe’s, and Best Buy are also shutting their doors.
Big warehouse clubs such as Costco and Sam’s Club are taking the day off, too.
If you were planning a shopping spree, you might want to hold off.
Clothing retailers like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and JCPenney will be closed until Monday.

Salton city resident Abraham Feinbloom is expected to take a plea deal in the murder case of 17 year old T’Neya Tovar. Under the plea deal obtained by the Imperial County Criminal Courthouse, Feinbloom will plead guilty to one count of torture and voluntary manslaughter. According to court records, he is also expected to assist law enforcement in finding the rest of the victim’s remains.
