Pickett Fire Threatens Napa Vineyards as Emergency Response Escalates
A rapidly growing wildfire in Napa County has prompted authorities to deploy more than 1,000 emergency personnel as the blaze threatens multiple vineyards in the region.
The Pickett Fire has burned through approximately 6,500 acres, with Cal Fire and partner agencies mobilizing an extensive response that includes hand crews, bulldozers, fire engines, water tenders, and helicopters to combat the flames.
Emergency crews are working to establish containment lines around the perimeter of the blaze. No information has been released regarding potential evacuations, injuries, or the fire's cause.
