Chilling 'To the Abductor' Letter Found at Missing Nancy Guthrie’s Home Before Mother’s Day
The search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie took a dramatic and emotional turn this week as a mysterious letter appeared at a makeshift memorial in front of her home. Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC’s Savannah Guthrie, has been missing from her Catalina Foothills residence for over three months, leaving investigators and family members with few answers.
The hand-delivered message, discovered just days before Mother’s Day, was addressed directly "To The Abductor." The author of the note appealed to the conscience of those responsible, writing that their own mother "would be ashamed" if she knew of their actions.
The letter continued with a pointed demand: "Before you take her flowers on Mothers Day, TAKE NANCY HOME or tell the family where she is so they can celebrate on Mothers Day. Do the right thing. Then you can go home to yours."
