Trump Says Iranian Nuclear Threat Outweighs Americans Financial Stress
President Donald Trump spoke to reporters in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, making it clear that stopping Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is his absolute priority, even above the domestic financial concerns of Americans. Addressing the current state of the economy, the president described high inflation as a short-term issue caused by the ongoing war.
According to the president, inflation was at 1.7 percent just before the conflict began. He expressed confidence that once the war ends, inflation will drop significantly, potentially reaching 1.5 percent.
