Amber Alert Continues for Missing 5-Year-Old Girl After Mother Found Dead
Authorities have released disturbing new details in an Amber Alert first issued across California involving a missing 5-year-old girl.
Investigators say the child’s mother was found dead inside a home in Los Angeles, and the girl’s father is now considered a person of interest in the case.
Police are searching for 5-year-old Delisa Fragoso and her father, 40-year-old Ruben Fragoso, who were last seen Sunday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the family’s home yesterday for a welfare check and discovered the girl’s mother dead inside.
Investigators say the pair had been traveling in a white Land Rover Discovery, which was later located today near the U.S.-Mexico border.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Delisa or Ruben Fragoso is urged to call 911 immediately.
