Incarcerated Music Mogul Sean Diddy Combs Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child Actor in New California Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES, California — Imprisoned music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs faces a disturbing new round of legal trouble after a former child actor filed a civil lawsuit in California accusing the producer of sexual assault. The legal complaint, filed anonymously under the pseudonym "John YH Roe," alleges that the assault occurred in May 2007 during an industry networking event at a residence in the Hollywood Hills when the plaintiff was a minor under the age of eighteen.
According to the filed court documents, Combs approached the young actor under the pretense of discussing potential industry opportunities, telling the minor he would be an ideal candidate for an upcoming production. The lawsuit states that Combs guided the victim into a private back room away from the main gathering, where he provided him with an alcoholic beverage. The complaint further alleges that despite the minor explicitly stating he felt uncomfortable with the musician's physical advances, Combs proceeded to forcibly fondle the victim and perform an act of oral copulation before instructing the minor that they would discuss the potential acting role at a later date.
A legal representative for Combs strongly rejected the newly filed allegations, labeling the civil claim an outright fabrication. Combs' spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, stated that the musician has never sexually assaulted anyone and expressed absolute confidence that the claims would be thoroughly disproven in court, adding that their legal team intends to pursue all available avenues to hold those spreading false claims accountable. The plaintiff's lawsuit also names his former talent agency as a co-defendant, asserting the firm failed to implement standard protective oversight by inviting a minor to a professional networking function without arranging an adult chaperone or verifying parental supervision.
The California lawsuit is the latest addition to a massive wave of civil litigation and criminal scrutiny surrounding the once-powerful entertainment executive. Combs is currently incarcerated while his legal defense team appeals a federal criminal conviction in New York, where he was sentenced to more than four years in prison on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Concurrently, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office under Nathan Hochman is actively reviewing a separate sexual assault investigation against Combs that was submitted by local law enforcement late last year, which includes accusations brought by music publicist Jonathan Hay. Combs' civil attorneys have maintained that the hip-hop figure categorically denies all allegations of abuse or human trafficking.
