Fire Breaks Out on Brooklyn Bridge During New York City's Fourth of July Fireworks Show
A fire broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge Saturday night during New York City's Fourth of July fireworks celebration.
The blaze occurred while fireworks were being launched from the bridge as part of the city's annual Independence Day festivities. Flames were visible on one section of the iconic structure as the fireworks display continued.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, though officials have not released details about what caused the fire.
At this time, there have been no reports of injuries, and authorities have not said how much damage, if any, the bridge sustained.
The incident occurred during one of the nation's largest Fourth of July celebrations, which attracts thousands of spectators to New York City's waterfront each year.

🐕 Desert Hot Springs is cutting ties with a dog rescue in Washington state after an animal cruelty investigation involving nearly 30 dogs. The city suspended its partnership with Pittie Project PNW yesterday. Detectives were called to the property on Monday where they found dogs injured, underweight and living in filthy conditions without enough food or water.
