The Trump administration is proposing a $103,000 fee for H-1B visas, commonly known as work visas.

H-1B visas allow foreign workers to seek employment in specialized professions in the United States. Applicants generally must have at least a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification related to the position.

The visa is typically valid for three years and can be renewed for an additional three years.

If finalized, the proposed fee would represent a significant increase in the cost for employers seeking to hire workers through the H-1B program.
