Crypto Fitz: Stablecoin Bill Signed, Digital Assets Report Expected, and Advice for New Investors
It’s been a busy stretch in the world of cryptocurrency, and this week’s Crypto Fitz segment highlights some major developments and practical advice for those looking to understand the fast-moving digital finance space.
Three cryptocurrency-related bills have been making their way through Capitol Hill. President Trump has signed the stablecoin bill into law, while two other bills have passed the House and will now be taken up by the Senate after their August recess.
A major development expected this week is the long-awaited release of the federal digital assets report, delayed since May. This report will detail the amount and types of cryptocurrencies the government has acquired through confiscation, including Bitcoin and other digital assets, as well as outline future plans for managing these holdings.
