Inside the Fantastic World of Amazon Prime Video’s “The Wheel of Time”
“The Wheel of Time” is the most popular series on Amazon Prime Video as of September 8th. Based on the novel series of the same name by Robert Jordan with Brandon Sanderson and developed by Rafe Judkins, “The Wheel of Time” returns for its second season and it promises to be bigger in scope. The cast is headed by Rosamund Pike as Moiraine Damodred and Daniel Henney as Lan Mandragoran.
I spent some time with director and executive producer Sanaa Hamri with director Thomas Napper, and executive producer Marigo Kehoe with producer Holger Reibiger.

Palm Springs firefighters responded Thursday to a report of a person struck by lightning in the Chino Canyon area. The person was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Firefighters also responded to a palm tree fire in Chino Canyon that officials say was caused by an apparent lightning strike. Estevan Figueroa of King’s Club Barbershop is giving back across the Coachella Valley — one haircut at a time.
