She was the inaugural winner of this award in 2019. Finally, Anne Hathaway has joined the cast of Verity, the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling thriller. Hathaway will star as Verity Crawford, a famous author whose incapacitation leads to a psychological thriller that takes viewers on a ride through past and present. Verity sold a million copies in 2023 alone, continuing Hoover's streak of success.
