SNL to Close Out Year with Chris Rock and Martin Short Hosting

Some of Saturday Night Live’s most iconic cast members are set to return to Studio 8H as the show wraps up 2023. Comedian Chris Rock is slated to host the show on December 14th, marking his fourth time at the helm. Rock, who was a cast member from 1990 to 1993, is well-known for his sharp comedic timing and impactful stand-up specials. For this episode, Rock will be joined by musical guest Gracie Abrams, making her SNL debut. The following week, on December 21st, veteran comedian Martin Short will host SNL for the sixth time. Short, who had a brief but memorable stint as a cast member during the 1984-85 season, has since become a beloved figure in comedy. His hosting gig is expected to bring a mix of classic humor and modern wit, delighting fans with his unique style.
