Taylor Swift’s NFL Impact, Kathleen Kennedy’s Future & NBC Palm Springs' Oscars Contest
Welcome to the Agua Caliente Entertainment Report, brought to you by Agua Caliente Casinos!
The National Football League and Taylor Swift remain a powerhouse duo, with Apex Marketing estimating that the global pop superstar has generated $1 billion in publicity for the league. Swift's relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, combined with her record-breaking Eras Tour, has amplified the NFL’s media exposure since her game-day debut in 2023.
In the film world, speculation surrounding Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy is heating up. This week, the entertainment site Puck reported that Kennedy would step down before the end of 2025. However, a source familiar with the matter says that's not true, emphasizing that any future decisions will be made public when the time comes. Kennedy has led Lucasfilm since 2012, overseeing Star Wars' transition to streaming with spin-off series and a run of theatrical films from 2015 to 2019.
