Manny Returns with Exclusive Look at “The Friend” — A Heartfelt Film for Dog Lovers and Dreamers
Agua Caliente Entertainment Report is back with a warm welcome to Manny, who’s returned to NBC Palm Springs after a brief break on his cruise. “It’s so good to be home,” Manny exclaims as he dives into the latest Hollywood buzz.
During his recent virtual interview for the film The Friend, Manny sat down with filmmakers Scott McGee and David Siegel. Describing the film as “a poetic, charming, and thoughtful meditation on grief,” Manny gushes about the story, which features a captivating performance by a brilliant canine actor named Bing alongside stars like Bill Murray and Naomi Watts. He recalls the serendipitous moment when a book review inspired the film’s creation and praises the delicate balance of loss and friendship portrayed on screen.
After sharing his excitement for The Friend, which is now showing in valley theaters, Manny gives a teaser about his recent cruise—highlighting adventures from New Zealand to Sydney, including a visit to Hobbiton. “I’ll have little bits and pieces to share on Tuesday,” he promises, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating his travel stories.
Stay tuned to NBC Palm Springs for more entertainment updates and Manny’s upcoming travel highlights.
